While many teachers fear the use of technology in the classroom, I encourage and embrace it. There are some of the ways I use ICT technologies in my classroom, aside from videos, PowerPoints and SMART Board use :

- QR codes can be used to give students easy access to web links, videos, hints on assignments, google forms, etc. Students love them and they’re so easy!

- These are a great way to do formative assessments like exit cards or quizzes that grade themselves!

- Plickers
- Easy interactive technology for real time class polling. These are great for when students aren’t allowed to have their technology with them. Students hold up cards to answer a question, the teacher scans the class with their phones and the answers get projected on the smart board!

- This real time polling works great for opinion based questions and more! Answers can be projected word clouds, blurbs, tweets and more! Easy interactive technology to have students get more involved. This tool can be anonymous if desired as well!
